Located just outside of the French Quarter, this Bywater cottage was once owned by the Nita & Zita sisters, who were famous for their burlesque shows and acrobatic performances on Bourbon Street.
Our goal is to preserve the true Bywater character of this property through salvaging and repurposing as much of the original materials as possible, including the barge boards dating back to the 1800’s.
For this space we will be keeping the old structure and taking full advantage of the high ceilings and adding a second story. A contemporary back adds more interior square footage while maintaining plenty of outdoor space, blending interior with exterior.
